The Friends of Cohasset's Farmers Market is a dedicated volunteer group committed to fostering community spirit and engagement at the market. We aim to create a synergistic environment that supports market vendors, local community organizations, businesses, and educational programs. Our mission focuses on promoting the advantages of locally-grown food, sustainable living, and maintaining an awareness of traditions while offering an enjoyable experience for all ages in a unique community gathering space.

Through the sale of small items and various fundraising efforts, the "Friends" contribute to the initiatives of the CFM and its board's programs. Each year, the Cohasset Farmers Market Board proudly awards cash scholarships to graduating Cohasset High School students based on their environmental awareness, community service, and academic standing.

Additionally, the board provides funding for market operations, infrastructure, music, and special sponsored events.
